La Massaria at Bella Vista Wedding| P + A

When College Sweethearts, Pat and Alyssa, walked into La Massaria at Bella Vista, they knew they had found the perfect venue for their wedding. Above all else, they knew they needed a venue with character. Between the farmhouse getting-ready-space and the exposed beams in the ballroom, La Massaria at Bella Vista is full of character and elegance unlike any other Philadelphia-area wedding venue. Their decision to have their wedding at La Massaria at Bella Vista was locked in.

With two years between them, Alyssa and Pat met sipping coffee at Lycoming College tucked between the Susquehanna river and the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. “We met at quite possibly the worst time to meet: the second semester of my senior year,” Pat said, “but I knew we would make it work.” And they have more than just made it work!

Many cups of coffee, dates, and quality time spent later, Alyssa graduated. Then they moved in together, bought their first home, and Pat proposed! Their home together is a true example of their love and the quality time they so cherish: full of character, a garden they love to tend, a workshop garage where Pat made the ring box he proposed to Alyssa with, happy, healthy chickens lovingly referred to as “the girls,” an energetic and playful doodle pup named Lola… the list goes on.

As with all things in their love story, intentionally gathered family and friends surrounding them on their wedding day, Pat and Alyssa exchanged their vows.

Pat wrote his promises of “continuing to fill their lives with quality time and the simple, defining moments that have shaped their love” in their gardening journal- a place they take meticulous care of together. And Alyssa spoke of the choice their love is- a nod to their not-so-easy beginning circumstances- and how she choose Pat and would choose him again and again.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Alyssa and Pat shared that their favorite part of their wedding day was during their portraits because it was time for just the two of them to be together and connect. So while I’ll always help and give you some direction, I’ll also give you space to share moments for just the two of you (and I’ll keep snapping away so you have memories of this time and feeling forever).

The amount of happy tears shed on Pat and Alyssa’s wedding day tops the charts for Kerry Anne Photography couples. For good reason too, because the emotion of pure joy radiated through the entire wedding guest list!
